End-of-Life Pet Photos

As our beloved Best Friends (canine, feline and equine) approach the end of their time with us, we often consider how best to celebrate and memorialize the love and bonds that we have forged with them. With all the stresses involved in their situation, we may not think to record the touching last moments we have with our senior and/or ill Best Friends before they pass, so we recommend that you schedule a session sooner rather than later.

SparkWerx Images offers end-of-life pet photography for senior and/or ill Best Friends with you and your family in northwestern Fairfax County and Loudoun County, Virginia. You do not need to travel to us. We will come to you and your Best Friend to record the best possible photos in an environment that you and your Best Friend are both familiar with and comfortable in. We use a silent camera, no flash, and prefer to shoot from a moderate distance to avoid upsetting your Best Friend by distracting them (and you) at this very emotional time. We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible and to accommodate your needs and those of your Best Friend with care and sensitivity.

Why do we offer this service? We have had the privilege of being loved unconditionally by eleven Best Friends in this lifetime (so far), and cherish the memories of each and every one that has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge. Some have stayed with us for a long time; some have left well before we were ready for them leave us behind. We fully understand and honor the intense, heart-felt bonds that we have with our Best Friends. Our goal is to provide you with high-quality photographic memories that celebrate your relationship with your Best Friend.

We offer a package with up to 20 professionally-edited, digital photographs of you and your Best Friend. We will have all photos processed and proofs available to you to view online within 48 hours in a private, password-protected repository. If you desire prints, we can direct you to proven and reliable photo printers that we have used and trust.

“When a much-loved Best Friend leaves, he takes a piece of our hearts with him. He also lovingly
leaves a piece of his own heart with us to remind us of how much he loved us while he was here,
and of how much he longs to be the one to greet us when we, in turn, go to The Rainbow Bridge.”

– Zygmunt W. Hrozsmencko
